AHIHA -- Hockey with higher goals

The American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to instill confidence and self esteem in deaf and hard of hearing individuals. This is accomplished primarily through their participation in an annual hockey clinic, known as the Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Hearing Impaired. The school teaches deaf and hard of hearing young people how to gain confidence and build life skills through hockey. In addition, AHIHA helps hockey students obtain hearing aids and speech, auditory and language therapy.
