Personal:
 Adopted by an aunt and uncle, he moved to St. Cahtarines, Ontario. Resides in western suburbs of Chicago with wife, Jill. Four children: Meg Mikita Johnson, Scott, Jane and Christopher work with Stan in his business. Owns and operates Stan Mikita Enterprises which represents different companies dealing in plastics, corrugated boxes, and folding cartons.

Career:  Moved from St. Catherines Teepees to Chicago in 1958-59 season. Entire NHL career played with Chicago Blackhawks: 1958-59 through 1979-80. Part of famed Scooter line with Ken Wharram, Ab McDonald and Doug Mohns.
